Pitch :
In Roomify, you will have the opportunity to develop your customers homes at will !
In kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and more, gather the right furniture and decorations to earn as many points as possible and collect all the stars.
But beware, customers will have specific requests, and you will have to organize and think in the right way to meet these constraints!

Game concept & constraints :
During this project, our team faced constraints and had a theme to follow:
The game had to be in 2D, made with Unity, and adhere to the theme "Zen and chill."
That's why we decided to create a puzzle game where you can freely place furniture in a room. However, to achieve the highest score, you need to consider and meet your customers' requirements.


Conception





Team organisation :
The organization of our project was entirely managed through an Excel document where each team member updated their progress on the tasks required for the project.
This allowed our duo of game designers to adapt to the most urgent needs.
The level design :
One of the tasks that took the most time during the project was ensuring that the sprites of objects could be oriented correctly in the isometric 2D game. We had to imagine all the possible actions a player might take.
I wanted to allow the player to feel free while still maintaining a level of difficulty through the clients' constraints.

The UI / UX design :
I truly discovered what UI and UX design entailed during this project.
Since the game was for mobile phones, we needed a complete interface without making it too cluttered.
For the UX, I paired up with someone proficient in sound design to create a pleasant atmosphere for the game.
